Hello. My name is Alfie. My parents named me after the car, the Alfa Romero because my dad wanted one but had to let go of that dream when my mom surprised him of the news of being pregnant with me.

I am a Los Angeles based artist, designer and art advocate. Yes, I have a lot on my plate. =)

Jasmine & Onyx came to fruition when I realized that many of the things I inspiration from needs a place separate from my personal art blog. My Instagram feed are snippets of visual thoughts and I am realizing that many of them I can dive deeper in and IG is a platform that does not allow me to do it. This blog will also be housing new creative collaborations as well as tutorials and projects.

Jasmine is a flower that reminds me of my grandmother. It is a reminder for me to find beauty in it's most natural form and to keep rooted. Onyx is a stone I find beautiful which metaphysical meaning means inner strength and focus. These two represents the two sides of me that work harmoniously together.
